As the HR Specialist C&B and Legal you are the driving force behind future compensation & benefits plans across vidaXL and assuring that these are compliant and legally applicable to ensure the best possible employee experience. This role plays a vital part in becoming the employer of choice via effectively designing, implementing robust C&B practices in combination with the existing HR process and/or supporting the continuous improvement of these related processes & practices keeping in mind the highest legal and ethical standards.

In this role you will report directly to our CHRO.


You will

  • Improve, design and deliver (Dutch) current C&B package, Including pension plans & insurances
  • Responsible for amendments of the People Guide (employment regulations) & compliant to law legislation, market changes, and organizational changes.
  • Enroll the People Guide Netherlands into other countries and adjusted to local law legislations & culture & habits
  • Enroll compensation structure –glocally, including GrowXL House of roles and salary scales.
  • Regularly based benchmark C&B and salary structures
  • Design and implement effective Job Family structure
  • Make sure our HRIS system is designed in a way to support the C&B structure and job family designs.
  • Ensure that execution of cross border payrolls is designed to execute the payments (per country) & cross checks
  • Create full transparency on Global C&B packages per country and if any changes
  • Assuring that our Team members can operate in a full compliant and legal way throughout our insurances glocally.
  • Make sure that the HR community and the businesses operate against the highest compliant and ethical way, including GDPR, Global and Local applicable labor laws.
  • Assure that existing HR processes are easily reflected in the way we organize C&B and its mechanisms.
  • Responsible for up-to-date labor contracts & letters (NED) but also for other countries
  • Expat situations – building the international framework & network with third parties to execute according to local labor, social & tax law legislation & compliance
  • Set up of overseas assignment policy & procedure (mobility packages)

We ask

  • Minimum of 3-5 years relevant C&B experience
  • Degree with focus on Dutch employment law and profound knowledge in contract law
  • Knowledge in writing policies and procedures as well as designing lean processes is welcome
  • Willingness to familiarize yourself with other HR specific matters.
  • Being approachable and a great communicator – building constructive working relationships and persuading others is one of your strengths
  • Diligence and detail orientation in a good balance with seeing the bigger picture and setting appropriate priorities
  • Fluency in Dutch and English language is a must
